Laplante Elisabeth
Elisabeth Laplante, her Architect's diploma in hand, is a professional French visual artist who quickly returned to painting, first in a surrealist fashion, then more and more abstract. By conducting in parallel a work in computer graphics, registered at the Maison des Artistes, she made a number of exhibitions. Then for twenty years, she practiced quantum therapy which continued to enrich her artistic practice, then painting definitely caught up with her, always in perpetual research ... She mainly works abstraction with subtlety and lightness, while sensitivity on various media, approaching more and more minimalism. (Www.laplanteelisabeth.com) 11 personal exhibitions / 23 group exhibitions in France, Spain (Price) and UK. In each of my drawings, here on large format paper (70 x 80 cm), it is only a question of sensations, which range from the heat of this childhood, to the tremors on the skin, this unspeakable thing that is the contact, pleasant or unpleasant. As I think that emotions are universally shared, I stage them in drawings and paintings to find them and allow others to share them.
